Mexico Law Blog is written and edited by John M. Dorsey, an attorney at the Austin, Texas offices of Strasburger & Price, LLP. 

 

John handles a wide variety of transactional matters for businesses and individuals.  His experience includes the planning, negotiation and documentation of joint ventures and strategic alliances, mergers and acquisitions, financing transactions (including debt restructurings), private placement securities offerings, and licensing, supply and distribution transactions.  

Fluent in Spanish and proficient in Portuguese, John regularly works with clients based outside of the United States, and has participated in transactions involving Argentina, Brazil, Costa Rica, Germany, Mexico, Peru, Spain and Venezuela.  John also frequently works with Mexican attorneys, including those at Strasburger & Forastieri, S.C., and local counsel in other countries in connection with the aspects of foreign law affecting cross-border transactions.
